　　If the driving relay current of the tested switch is greater than 10a, the external synchronization mode shall be used; That is, instead of the opening and closing control provided by the machine, the opening and closing control of the tested switch itself is used to make the switch act. The specific methods are as follows:

　　1. Turn the toggle switch on the panel to external synchronization.

　　2. Connect the external contact end of the panel to a certain point of the driving mechanism of the tested switch, which shall reflect the start of the driving action. For the high-voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester, when the external trigger signal changes from high level (+ 5V) to low level (0V), the tester knows the start of the test. External trigger can be realized through contactor.

　　3. Operate according to the prompt of the high-voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester. When the word "testing" is displayed on the screen, the operating mechanism of the tested switch can be started; The signal can be measured by the tester.

　　4. When the machine prompts "please set the test time", you can use the direction key to select the test time. The maximum can reach 12.5 seconds. For the external synchronization mode, it is enough to meet the time between the tester pressing the test key and starting the switch operating mechanism.

　　5. The external synchronization mode is the same as the internal synchronization test. One end of the measured fracture signal shall be connected to the common terminal and the other end to a terminal in "a -- l". The difference between the two methods lies in that the internal synchronization signal is provided by the machine for opening and closing control; The external synchronization signal is controlled by the tester for opening and closing, and the driving signal is not output by the machine; The external synchronization mode is flexible and can be mastered by the tester.

　　How to use contactor of high voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester

　　The selection principle of contactor is: the rated current is not less than 10a, and there are at least 3 pairs of normally open contacts. When the contactor acts, all 3 pairs of normally open contacts shall be connected. For the tester, the contactor can be used to control the action of high-voltage switch and give the tester a test start signal. The wiring mode is as follows:

　　1. First, a pair of terminals for field driving switch action shall be connected to a pair of terminals of the contactor.

　　2. Then connect the "ground terminal" and "external trigger terminal" on the tester panel to another pair of terminals of the contactor.

　　3. The tester controls the contactor. When the contactor acts, it can drive the high-voltage switch and give the test start signal at the same time.

　　Note: before connecting the contactor, the high voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester shall be in the external synchronization state (i.e. move the switch on the panel to the external synchronization) and enter the "testing" state. If the tester is worried that the test cannot be completed within 3 seconds, the "↑" and "↓" keys can be used to set the test time. During the set test time, the high-voltage switch dynamic characteristic tester has been waiting for the arrival of the trigger signal. After the arrival of the trigger signal, the tester starts to test each fracture signal until the test time is completed. During the opening test, the wiring is exactly the same as that in the figure above, and only the closing coil terminal is replaced with the closing coil terminal.
